I joined the Washington Square News in 2009 as a graphic designer, designing layouts for the daily paper, online banners and infographics. Using bright colors and bold typography, I created eye-catching graphics that made complicated ideas digestible. The bold design also broke up the monotony of a traditionally text-heavy newspaper design.
